DESIGNER BASED IN MELBOURNE
The last year has been a whirlwind. I began my journey as a UX/UI designer, crafting and developing my skills whilst travelling and performing around the world as the session guitarist for alternative rock band, Ocean Grove. Since then, I’ve recently taken on my first 2 UX client projects, and I’ve become passionate about breaking down complex problems and designing meaningful, empathy-driven experiences that make a difference in people’s lives.

I was initially drawn to UX/UI as it sits somewhere in between my experience in the arts, social media marketing and research, and they all share similar traits – creativity, empathy and curiosity.
Coming from working in a social media role for a music festival and curating my own events, I’m an understanding and goal-oriented creative problem solver with a penchant for collaborating in various contexts and with people from all walks of life. From completing a postgraduate research thesis on cultural diplomacy and working as a market research interviewer, I’ve learnt to thrive in ambiguity and have fallen in love with the shared satisfaction and excitement of seeing hard work take shape.
In my spare time you’ll find me writing and recording indie sleeper hits for my solo music project Soft Powder, in Flagstaff Gardens doing tai chi, or being coerced into jumping out of planes for fun.
